I remembered something fun.
Even tho my childhood cultural activities were always curated, sometimes in snobby ways, by my arty parents, we can find anomalies in the overall aesthetic - silly, kitschy science fiction is part of it.
My father has always been the biggest fan of science fiction. Although he didn’t missed any of the serious ones (Asimov everywhere in the house), silly space operas were one of his guilty pleasures. That's how I stumbled upon Dr. Who in my early teens, and it's still one of my favorite shows, that brings me the most joy. And I feel quite alone in rarely having anyone to share it with.

If you’re not familiar with it, Dr Who is an iconic BBC show, which had a super old vintage version (1926!!! the longest SF show in history) And a fantastic remake in the 2000s with aliens and hot actors and stuff. The doctor is an alien, a « time lord » with abilities to travel in time and space with a phone cabin shaped spaceship. The doctor has an ability to regenerate, he keeps his memories but changes his body - so when a contract with the main actor ends, they just switch to another hot actor. So wonderful. abundance.
One thing I absolutely love about this show is that it seems that nobody’s really worried about it to be coherent and everyone is just happy for it to exist, so no scenarist is scared of the time travelling possibilities and, in between to episodes of expected aliens and planets, we have some historical themed ones. For example :
The doctor meet Marie Antoinette (a broken spaceship named « Marie Antoinette » sent by mistake aliens to kill the real Marie Antoinette in the hope to get pieces from her body to repair it. The doctor saves her.) Vincent Van Gogh (The doctor helps fighting an alien the painter is the only one able to see), Cleopatra (The doctor’s ex), Shakespeare (I dont really remember what’s going on on this one but I guess Shakespeare’s an alien)

There’s an episode about Vampires in Venezia. The Vampires are, indeed, aliens.

I dreamed that you were sitting, « curled up », like in a ball shape ? and I was kissing your vertebrae, one by one.

I got drunk with Helo tonight. Tomorrow I go out for a lil girly back to work glow up. New nails, new shoes.
I’m also in a big home design moment, as I’m starting over. Hope we'll be able one day to geek over furniture design. Right now only persons coaching me on this are Emman and Heloise, wich means I'll end up either with an rich influencer home or a cursed old chapel (with nice curated colors).

Do you really feel like childhood is a stupid state of mind ?
An old legend about childhood : says that the philtrum we have upon our lips is the mark of an angel’s finger, making children ready to born, by this gesture (shhhh), silent about all the secrets about life that they have by default. They then get born, numb.

Had a conversation with my therapist. She said emotions smooth out in adulthood. Will they ever smooth out ? Do you sometimes, when emotions are too strong, remember that we’re all made of stardust ? That there isn’t a real difference between you, me, strangers, trees. That when you suffer, everything suffers. When you’re happy, everything is bliss. If you hurt someone, everyone is hurt. If you have an orgasm, the whole world has one.
That everything that ever happened is happening right now and everything that will happen is already happening. I feel it strongly. I try to not to think about it too much.

I was showing off with hotglue, but every time I have to post, I have to move all the posts below down one by one. A real mess… curious about your future plans with it ;)

Today is the day of the month I'm so terribly in pain.
So many pain killers I feel high :)
I have good hopes for an appartment I see tomorrow. Wish me luck mon michto préféré.

It’s not too hot outside. I’m in a very good mood. I canceled almost all my jobs next week to take more time to nap in parks. Also did you know I worked out everyday for two weeks ? I’m like …a super hero.
I really liked the apartment I visited this morning. Not perfect, but really really nice. Perfection doesn’t exist ! I try to imagine me in it. I imagine a new life. Where I’m fit and rock and rollllllll. Please refer to my new shoes.
I hope you’re not grumpy because I’m not super talkative here. Writing is really not my easiest medium. Also because I’m not that fluent in English - I prefer expressing myself in English tho ! I love this pen pal exercise. don't be mad I'm not the best at it. I’m really impressed by your writing skills. I feel like talking with you about so many things tbh. And now I have to go to Venezia, where I have so many little treasures to hunt.
And in case you’re grumpy because of the crazy crevettes surgelées man, don’t worry, it’s the end of the week soon.
I posted a letter today. You’ve been so subtle and romantic. I’m so sorry by advance I’m so not worthy of your good taste but I NEEDED to use this sticker it was so perfect it’s so funny I’m so funny I’m laughing already IRL hahahahaha.
P-S : I heard a rumor. that a lover of mine’s boss was letting him invite dates at his Venice Airbnb.
If thats the case, I hope they are vampires because this boy deserves to have his neck bitten properly ! The idea of this boy’s neck not being taken care of properly makes me really grumpy. It’s a special neck.
